What are the real threats of climate change? How should aid be managed and what should be done to help developing nations? What are the real issues involved in international migration? These are just some of the highly topical issues you will explore in Geography.

This two year course combines both Human and Physical Geography. In the first year, you will study Tectonic Processes and Hazards, Coastal Landscapes and Change, Globalisation, Regenerating Places and The Water Cycle and Water Insecurity. In your second year you will take part in an exciting field trip and study modules in The Carbon Cycle and Energy Security, Superpowers and Health and Human Rights.

A Level Geography is assessed through external exams and coursework. There is a compulsory field trip that forms the basis of the coursework.

Geography graduates are the most employable graduates outside of vocational degrees such as Veterinary Science, Dentistry, etc. 96.4% of Geography graduates find employment within 6 months of graduating. Geographers are particularly employable in fields including Teaching, International Relations, Government, Science and Engineering.
