If you want to progress into a career in Science, then follow a medical pathway in Science (Applied). Applied Science combines Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. You will take part in exciting practical experiments. In Medical Science and you will learn about the human body and genetic engineering.

This course covers several topics including Physiology Of The Human Body, Genetics and Biomedical Techniques, Electrical Circuits and Electronics, Medical Physics, Energy Changes, Applications and Techniques of Chemistry, Chemistry for Technicians and Biochemistry. You will apply science to the real world and continue with some of the topics you studied at GCSE, developing them to a higher level.
